Autistic Style

I drew this based on a selfie I took the other day before I went out. Over time I have learnt a lot about what helps me cope when I venture out into the world.

I love it when people *share* my comics but please

  1. Hello Beth,
I just wanted to say that I really like your comics, especially this one. I’m autistic, too; I don’t usually listen to music when I’m out and about, but I have a really nice pair of sound-cancelling earmuffs that I often wear, and I pretty much always wear amber-tinted prescription glasses (although, in my case, I wear them more because of my head injury a couple of years ago; they’re supposed to help block blue light that hurts my head, but their general ability to keep stimuli down is definitely a bonus for when things get really bright). I’m used to wearing glasses for my nearsightedness, so the only occasional downside is that I sometimes miss out on what colour things actually are.

    Keep up the good work!

PS: Out of curiosity, what’s the necklace thing that you’re wearing in this comic called?
